It’s release day Tuesday! What are you downloading today? I’m pretty pumped about the new Machinedrum EP.
I realize people are going back to school today but please take a second to check out my new single if you haven’t already.It’s likely I’d be making music regardless of my situation, but it’s been so great having friends and musicians I admire who have been digging my tracks and going out to my shows this year. I am so grateful to have all of your support.
The single is $2 (dollar per track) — this is my first attempt at releasing music not for free. The end goal is to collect a few bucks to put towards releasing an EP later this quarter that has a higher quality to it, maybe even a physical release if it seems worthwhile. I’d also like to pay my friends that worked with me on everything from artwork to promotion one day. They work without any pay just because they love music, and they deserve something from it besides my eternal gratitude.
You can stream the tracks as much as you want, and I won’t kid that if you’re tech savvy enough, it’s pretty easy to steal off a streaming site. I’m all for sharing, but if you decide to do that, I ask you to please share it with other people.
